Iman High School eighth graders showed their creativity during the Physics Day. Students worked in groups to come up with innovative ideas that can be applied in our everyday life. Using the skills they have acquired from their teachers, they were able to impress everyone.
The event started with a welcome speech by the eighth grader MC Abdallah Tohme. Then our eleve th graders Naseel Habbal and Hiba Kobrosli gave a thorough interactive presentation that explained in depth what physics is.
The jury consisted of the physics coordinator Mr. Ali Abdelhameed, the head of the IT department Mr. Abdelwadood Nakouzi and Mrs. Abeer Al Zein grade 7 physics teacher.
The projects presented revealed the hard work and dedication of both students and their teachers. A big applause goes for the jury, students and their teachers Mr. Bassam Siss and Khalil Assi. Mr. Bassam students harvested the first three places. Mr. Ali Abdelhamid announced the results.
The Solar Oven Project prepared by Abdallah Tohme, Mohammad Fawaz, Mohammad Hariri and Mohammad Kahwaji won the third place. The VR Project prepared by Mohammad Al Majzoub, Malik Bikai, Wassim Khoudari and Mohamad Hijazi won the second place. The Juice Dispenser Project prepared by Mahmoud Mawed, Ragheed Hashisho, Mohamad Farran and Ahmad Saab won the first place. The winners received their medals from Mrs. Abeer Al Zein, Mr. Bassam Siss, Mr. Abdelwadood Nakouzi, Miss Maha Al Yaman and Mrs. May Mansour. Iman High School promises that such events will be annual events. We are all waiting for more and more productive events.
